About The Velaswitt
Built in 1857
The Velaswitt was original built in ca. 1857 and originally home to B.J. Harvey, an architect from Boston, MA. Since then home to the Coller family for generations until recently when it was sold to become The Velaswitt.
The estate is broken down into two units where you can stay. Both “The Retreat” and “The Velaswittz” offer comfort and beauty with each room. Each boutique is equipped with its own full service kitchen as well as everything you may need to prepare a meal.
The Retreat is a one bedroom one bath unit with a cozy feel. The Velaswittz offers a much larger living area that includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, office spaces, formal dinning, eat in island kitchen, den and loft.
The entire property has recently undergone an extensive renovation. Tyler Witt designed the new layout and was the lead interior designer. While keeping with the original historical feel the estate is decorated with elegance and class at every turn.
